GIVING BACK
I offer $30 off family portrait sessions to pet therapy teams associated with either Saint John's Ambulance (SJA), or Therapeutic Paws of Canada (TPOC). Cody, my four legged little brother was a therapy dog for both of these great organizations before passing away at the age of 12. There's not a day that goes by that he isn't missed dearly, he was a very special dog with a huge heart and an amazing capacity to understand your moods and lift your spirits with his comforting presence! In fact not only do I offer discounts to therapy pet teams, but my husband and I also became foster parents with Labrador Rescue of Nova Scotia, to honor Cody's memory and to help other dogs find homes! We fostered 29 dogs before they closed and then went on to foster 5 cats with a local cat rescue as well.
I would like to find a local shelter in need of professional photographic services. Whether it's helping to create unforgettable images for a fundraising calendar, or doing a monthly photo shoot with the animals who need adopting. Please contact me if you own a shelter you think I should consider working with.

Saint John's Ambulance
St. John Ambulance knows, many people can benefit physically and emotionally from regular contact with the unconditional love of a dog. Their Therapy Dog Services takes a volunteer and their dog into hospitals, seniors' residences or nursing homes on a weekly basis. Through petting, affection, and regular visitation, many people benefit both physically and emotionally from the unconditional love of a dog.
Therapeutic Paws of Canada
Therapeutic Paws of Canada is a non-profit organization of volunteers providing animal resources for human needs (physical, mental, educational, motivational, socialization) through regular visits to hospitals, residences, schools, etc. They also offer a unique program through the Halifax Regional Libraries, helping children who struggle with reading.
